Information I may collect
When you use this website, place an order or contact me, I may receive information including:
your name
email address
billing and delivery address
order and transaction details
correspondence you send to me
reference images or other information supplied for a commissioned portrait
technical information associated with your use of the website, including information collected through cookies where applicable
Payment information is processed securely by the payment provider used at checkout. I do not need to receive or store your full payment-card details.
How I use your information
I may use your information to:
process and fulfil orders
arrange delivery
communicate with you about an order or commission
respond to questions or enquiries
create commissioned artwork
maintain necessary business, accounting and tax records
protect the website and prevent misuse
understand how the website is used, where you have consented to relevant analytics cookies
The legal basis for using your information will depend on the circumstances. This may include fulfilling a contract with you, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, complying with legal obligations, pursuing legitimate business interests, or your consent where required.
Who I share information with
I only share personal information where it is necessary to operate the business or fulfil your order.
This may include:
Squarespace, which hosts and operates the website
payment providers used to process transactions
Royal Mail or other delivery providers
professional advisers or service providers where necessary
public authorities where disclosure is required by law
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used to protect personal information.
I do not sell your personal information.
Commission Reference Images
Images supplied for commissioned work will be used for the purpose of creating your commission and administering the order.
By supplying a reference photograph, you confirm that you have the right or appropriate permission for that image to be used to create the commissioned artwork.
I will not use a private commissioned portrait or reference photograph for promotional purposes without your permission.
How long I keep information
I keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Order and transaction records may need to be retained for longer where required for accounting, tax or other legal obligations.
Commission reference material that is no longer required will not be kept indefinitely.
Your Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to ask for access to it, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability or to object to certain uses.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent.
To make a request, contact szykrolart@gmail.com.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled.

Delivery
UK delivery is included in the price of every print.
Orders are normally dispatched within 5 working days and sent by Royal Mail First Class.
Delivery times after dispatch are estimates and may occasionally be affected by postal delays.
At present, I deliver within the UK only.
If your order appears to be delayed or has not arrived, please get in touch at szykrolart@gmail.com and I'll be happy to help.
Returns
I hope you'll be very happy with your print. If you change your mind about a standard, non-personalised print purchased online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it.
Please contact me at szykrolart@gmail.com within that period to let me know you wish to cancel.
You then have a further 14 days to return the print.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. Please package the print carefully so that it reaches me safely. I recommend obtaining proof of postage.
Returns should be sent to:
Simon Król
Flat 44
Park House
1 Goldstone Crescent
Hove
BN3 6AN
Once the returned print has been received, I will refund the amount paid using the original payment method. Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned item, or earlier if you provide evidence that it has been sent back.
I may reduce a refund if a returned print has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it and its value has consequently been reduced.
Commissioned Portraits
Commissioned portraits are made specifically for you and are therefore treated differently from standard prints.
Because they are custom-made to your specifications, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right that applies to standard online purchases does not normally apply to commissioned work.
This does not affect your legal rights if a commissioned piece is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders
If your print arrives damaged, faulty or you receive the wrong item, please contact me as soon as possible at szykrolart@gmail.com.
Where possible, please include your order number and photographs of the print and packaging.
I will work with you to arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. If I ask you to return a faulty or incorrect item, I will cover reasonable return postage costs.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

Products
Simon Król Studio sells limited-edition art prints and commissioned portrait artwork.
I take care to describe and photograph the work as accurately as possible. Minor differences may occur between images displayed on a screen and the physical print.
Standard eye portraits are supplied as:
A4 — 210 × 297 mm
pigment inkjet prints on acid-free fine-art paper
limited editions of 50
individually signed, numbered and embossed
unframed
Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
Standard A4 limited-edition prints are currently £25, including UK delivery.
Any applicable taxes are included in the price shown.
Commissioned portraits are currently £75, unless a different price is agreed before work begins.
Orders and Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Once an order has been placed, you should receive confirmation using the contact information supplied during checkout.
If I am unable to fulfil an order—for example because an edition has unexpectedly sold out—I will contact you and refund any payment made.
Limited Editions
Each standard portrait is produced in an edition of 50.
Prints are individually numbered. Once an edition has sold out, no further prints will be produced as part of that edition.
Delivery
Standard print orders are normally dispatched within 5 working days.
UK delivery is included in the advertised price.
Please see the Delivery & Returns section above for further information.
Returns and Cancellation
Standard, non-personalised prints purchased online may normally be cancelled within 14 days of delivery.
You then have a further 14 days to return the item.
Please see the Delivery & Returns section above for full details, including return instructions.
These rights are in addition to your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise do not meet legal requirements.
Commissioned Work
Custom portrait commissions are made specifically to your requirements.
The typical turnaround is approximately 2–3 weeks, although this is an estimate and may vary depending on the nature of the commission.
You are responsible for supplying a suitable reference image.
By providing an image for use in a commission, you confirm that you own the image or have permission from the relevant copyright owner for it to be used to create the commissioned artwork.
Because commissioned portraits are made to your specifications, the normal statutory right to cancel an online order simply because you have changed your mind does not generally apply.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the commissioned work is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Intellectual Property
Purchasing a print or commissioned artwork gives you ownership of the physical artwork supplied.
It does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights in the artwork.
Artwork may not be reproduced, copied, commercially exploited or used to create further products without permission.
Website Content
The artwork, text, branding, photographs and other original material on this website may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission, except where permitted by law.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
I am not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for losses arising from circumstances outside my reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Notice published on this website.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time.
The terms applying to an order will be those in force when that order is placed.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law that applies to you.
